March is a big month for me! I’ll be speaking, presenting or paneling on three different occasions.

Content Marketing

First up, I’ll again be presenting at the Nevada Interactive Media Summit at the University of Nevada. I’ll be presenting on content marketing, why it makes sense given current web trends and basic factors of social phychology.

UNR Social Media Panel Discussion

university of nevada social media panelNext is a panel discussion @ UNR organized by Bret Simmons on social media called Online Labyrinth: Where do we go from here? It’s going to be mostly an open Q/A forum where the audience will pose topics for the panel to discuss. Fortunately, NetFlix has Labryinth available to for streaming, so I’ll be totally prepared for anything that should come up.

  • What: Social Media Panel Discussion
  • When: Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 6-8 pm
  • Where: UNR Student Union Ballroom A (4th floor)
  • RSVP: Facebook

Making Video Social

Lastly, I’ll be presenting on Making Video Social at the SMG Tourism, Technology + Marketing Workshop in South Lake Tahoe. I’ve presented several times in the last year on video and social media based on our experience @ One To One Interactive (Formerly Twelve Horses) ¬†working on video projects for Alpine Meadows, Club Cal Neva Casino and The Nevada Museum of Art. I attended this conference last year and really enjoyed the presentations. The schedule this year seems to be a bit more weighted towards social and interactive media.
